We left Thursday to head to California for a family wedding. We love coming to California, the weather is perfect and our kids are so excited! As we flew into Orange County we could see the mountains and some smog in the sky. Madison with great enthusiasm said, "LOOK, the Sound of Music!" Not quite, but the mountains were a beautiful sight and one we are not used to seeing in Dallas.
We took another small American Eagle flight out of Orange County into San Jose where we met up with Kent's parents. San Jose is where the Lawrence Family lived before moving to Dallas. We took the kids on a little field trip to Kent's house that he lived in, the elementary he attended, and South Hills the church that Kent's dad started.
We will attend the wedding this weekend in Napa at a vineyard and then fly out Sunday to San Diego. We have alot of fun things planned for the week. Kent's parents will stay with us in San Diego until next Thursday. I will try and update throughout the week!
