Christmas with Graham Cracker and Granddaddy!!

This year Bill and Lynna will be spending a snowy Christmas up north in Minnesota with Joel, Myndi and the kids!! We celebrated last week a little early and had a fun evening. The kids were so excited that they were coming over and of course could not wait to open gifts. You may notice the different name captions in the slide show that is because Madison Mae has her own name for them! She is a funny, funny girl!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

We purchased our first REAL tree!! We went the day after Thanksgiving with The Lucas Clan and had a GREAT time!

THANKSGIVING - A BIG Day for Preston

On Thanksgiving we spent our day with family at my Aunt Vicki's house. Kent and Preston were with us for the beginning and then they went on to the Cowboy game! BUT, before they left Preston lost a TOOTH! It was a little traumatic at the beginning but ended in a smile! While the boys were off enjoying the game the rest of us had fun playing games and making turkeys and pilgrim hats!!

Living History Day!

One of our favorite days at Preston's school is Living History Day. This year, the focus was a day in the life of a pioneer child at the Farmers Branch Historical Park. The theme was "Knights on the Prairie." The students, faculty and volunteers all dress up, as well as many parents, siblings and friends. It is a really fun day for everyone!

Pacifier Fairy

A visit from the Pacifier Fairy: A friend told me about the idea of having the pacifier fairy visit our house. One day Madison commented that she had been at her Mimmie's and could not find her pacifier. I had recently mentioned to Madison that the Pacifier Fairy was coming to visit our house. So, since she could not find her pacifier at Mimmie's, I ran with it and told her that the Pacifier Fairy must have come! The idea is that the Fairy would be giving her pacifiers to little babies that need them. The first couple of nights were a little rough, but I have to say it has been completely successful!

Granddad's 70th Birthday Celebration

On Sunday Lynna had a beautiful feast for Bill and a few of his dearest friends over to celebrate his birthday. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and seeing sweet friends.

Corey's Wedding

This past weekend was our dear friends Corey and Isaac's wedding. Kent and Madison were both in the wedding. It was Madison's first time to be in a wedding and she did GREAT! She was all smiles as she walked down the aisle. Kent did a GREAT job too - he did part of the ceremony. It was great to see all of the Miller's and O'Dwyer's and many of our friends from Northwest.
